Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by FalomVtr, Jan 17, 2005.

  1. Ok, now i am getting hassled to go eat Yum Cha. Sounds great, IF ONLY I KNEW WHAT IT WAS!!!!!!!!!!

Love Chinese, Japanese, Thai and will eat it by the bucket load, but Yum Cha?

If someone could help me out with a breif description I will be able to make an informed decision. Thanx in advance guys. You truley rock my simple little world :D

  2. Cats'n'Dogs
  3. Well that one's easy, it's when you eat lunch at a Chinese restaurants, and waiters/waitresses pushes trolleys around with small plates/containers of food. You select what you want to eat, while you drink lots of chinese tea.
  4. ACE!!! So it's like a Sushi train but with trolleys and cooked stuff....

  5. Or SAKI? :p
  6. Yes, although you may not like what's on offer. Even cooked...

  7. Oh really??? What sorta stuff we talkin????
  8. OK, for those uneducated, in-bred people who have no idea what truly multicultural food is all about..... Yum Cha is basically finger foods that include things like pork, beef, prawns, sweet food, sour food, pastry, rice based, dough based, etc... All cool and very different things....

If you still dont understand, go clean your tooth and play the banjo          and sing kooooombaaaayaaaaaaa 8) 8) 8) 8)
  9. YUM CHA

YUM .... Pretty self explanatory. :D

CHA .... short for what you do if the food is not to your liking or after a heavy night on the turps....

    But seriously..... what fling said.

If you ever get the chance, you gotta try the chooks feet, I did and it's better than Viagra.
  10. Sounds like a challange Bubba
  11. Well how rude indeed. I would have you know that I have been eating "multicultural" foods most of my life. I "LOVE" asian cuisine especially and go often. Just never had YUM CHA!!

According to Fling I may not like what they serve. If it aint testicals or bum lining I will probably like it!!!

Now where the hell is my banjo???? My sister probably has it. Oh darling!!
  12. Dammit, I was going to spring that surprise out to him. :?

And finger food?? No thanks I'm a bit more cultured than that, I'll use chopsticks :D
  13. OK, seriously all goto the following web site and it explains it perfectly well

Yes, Falom, you will like it.... It is pretty normal food but there are those specialty dishes that include bushmans testicles, banjo feet, etc....

THis is becoming a pretty funny string...
  14. I picked one of them at Yum Cha late last year but couldn't bring myself to eat them.

I could have swarn the bastard foot was pointing at me like some demonic hand threatening me not to eat it.

Still, Yum Cha is like all-you-can-eat chinese snacks. It's pretty darn good if you ask me.

Gotta love those steamed pork buns!!!!
  15. "Deep-fried fish balls"

HA!!!! I knew someone would try to get me to eat somethings nuts!!!!!!

  16. Hhhmmmmm, sounds like my ass after a long ride on a hot day wearing leathers

  17. Sorry Stew, but these actually look, smell and taste nice.... Your arse is just plain nasty....

Hey, Stew, dont worry, we wont show you the traditional menu, you are already scared, dont want you to throw up and the table......
  18. Yes mate scared, very, but not by the food. It's the company that concerns me :?

P.S. By the way, my ass happens to be "Super Sweet"
