  1. my m8s yamy keeps blowing the blinker fuse
    i say just use arm signals, but he wont ride without a handfull of hte little bastards

    anyone got a manual for the yamy 1000 FZR, much appreciated

  2. make sure all of your earths are good & clean. That's the most common cause of indicator problems. Then I'd look at the switch and make sure it was contacting cleanly and also check it isn't shorted to the headlight wiring or similar inside the switch block.

  3. will give that advice m8 thanks

  4. My guess is he's doing one of the following:

    - using bulbs of a much higher current rating (very unlikely);

    - using a fuse with too low a current rating (unlikely); or

    - getting a short circuit somewhere. could be near the fuse, the indicators, the indicator switch, need to check anywhere that water could have gotten into the wires, or the wires rub against the bike..

    - maybe a faulty relay, or the thing that controls the flashing.

  5. i've got the Clymer repair manual for the FZR600 = 89-93, but not sure how much different the 600 is to the 1000
