Would you bid on THIS?
depending on the quality of the radio 9probably not terrific) a few of the capacitors may have leaked and be "past expiry date"
Believe it or not there are people out there who buy and restore stuff like that.
Being 20+ years old means that most of the components (like capacitors) will be able to be replaced easily as there would be any surface mounted components in it.
It is not always a working radio that people are wanting it for. A Collector would probably jump at this.
I have bought a retro snoopy radio from ebay. I have not even tried to see if it works. I bought it because I collect snoopy items from the 60s and 70s.
Sure does
The Asian copycat stuff just does not cut it.
Or this one???? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5658369589
I could imagine a few people on here would do something like this one.
