winter oil? viscosity? mineral or synthetic?

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by jarrodGPX, May 22, 2007.

  1. hey guys,

    just a quick one,

bout to change my bikes oil from mineral to synthetic, will be going most likely a 10w-40. engine has 12,000kms and is a 2001 gpx250 model.

any does or dont's before i go ahead with this?
im hoping this will improve my bikes random behaviour during a cold start.
  2. oil is not a function of random starting behaviour and 10W40 synthetic has the same properties as 10W40 classic.

Now go and get your hands dirty!
