Wierd brake noise

Discussion in 'Maintenance and Servicing' started by Rapson, Dec 18, 2013.

  1. Hey Guys, before I start the bike is a 2007 Suzuki GSX750F with 95000km's on it.

Replaced brake discs and pads about 10000km's ago. All good but they started to squeal. Front and back. Put it down to cheap pads. Took both out and gave a bit of a sand to remove the glaze and rear are fine but no difference to the front. The rear was a definite squeal however the front is more of a grinding sound, sounds really scratchy. I took both front calliper's off, blasted out with compressed air and a good spray of brake cleaner. pad are flat, no gouges and discs look like new. Any ideas?
  2. Try a different brand of pads. Some pads are just like that.
  3. Thanks ibast, that was my next move.
