Who has to work on Christmas day?

Discussion in 'The Pub' at netrider.net.au started by dobbo, Dec 24, 2014.

  1. Who has to work on Christmas day?
I certainly scored the short straw this festive season!
Day shift on Christmas day:(, then boxing day followed by New years day. Rather than spend time with the family and all for a single rate of pay and no time in lieu!
Although next year l have Christmas day off, first one in 15 years :).

Anyhow, we try and have a cook up and take it as easy as possible in the Station, then really look forward to getting home at the end of shift for a feast!

Merry Christmas to all, especially to all those that have to work on Christmas day!

  4. Yep, I am on every day until 5th.

    5am starts every day.

Looks like tomorrow will be busy too - normal schedule so 2 return flights Karratha to Barrow Island then have a couple wheels to change on the aircraft, they are easier than a Ducati though.
