Where to sell a car, quickly?

Discussion in 'The Pub' started by fizmotech, Apr 9, 2008.

  1. Where can I take my car to sell it quickly so I can get my bike faster?

Its worth $2500 but would be happy with $1300 or less.

    Any ideas?
  2. What type of car is it? Give some quick details..

Also, you could try the ad's in the Trading Post, "CAR REMOVALS TOP CASH PAID!!"

    Or, just be patient..
  3. No details or it will be considered a for sale ad.
The guy wants advice on how to sell it fast so just leave it at that.
  4. Have you considered a trade in?
will motorcycle sellers trade in cars?
  5. i was hoping so !
  6. There's plenty of places on "earth" that trade cars
  7. I've got a feeling this guy might be Carmen Sandiago...

Where on earth is he? :?

  8. What about if he PM's me the details?
Im interested in buying a cheap, car thats all.
  9. im on earth, the cars on mars

    nsw in other words
  10. You could always find the local spot where people park their "for sale" cars and park it there.

Tried driving around with a sign on the car? Don't know if that works, never tried it, but hey it costs nothing.

Ad in the local paper, maybe?

Know any teenagers about to get their car licences?

Last car I sold was to one of those backpacker car places so you could try that too.
  11.  I used to play that on my old Commodore 64
  12. If you've got a Uni or Tafe campus nearby try putting some ads up around there, students are usually the main buyers of cheap cars so best to go straight to the source.
  13. Go do some burnouts in front of the local Police Station, they'll take it off your hands...............

Seriously if it is so undervalued, just drive to a yard and ask what they will pay for it.
