Where to get brake disc buttons

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' started by ibast, Jul 29, 2010.

  1. Need aftermarket ones at a price better than where I may as well just get a new set of discs.

    any ideas?
  2. They don't look that complicated to me. What would be the economics of drawing up a set and getting a jobbing CNC shop to knock 'em out for you?
  3. There are plenty of shops who do have them and there are plenty of online shops too wherein you can order them. The online purchase of these things are usually found to be quite cost effective and if you are successful in finding a good one you might end up saving some some good bucks.
  4. Buttons? As in the little things that kinda cover bolts?

    Like these?
  5. Nah the disc float spindles. They flog out a bit on some bikes. Actually thinking of new discs now. Mine must be 3/4 worn so it's not really worth just replacing the spindles.
