Where to for making custom parts?

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' started by Steve41, Jan 5, 2016.

  1. Hello guys,

My old bike needs some simple parts that I'm just unable to find online anywhere. It's a simple rod with threads on both sides and just wondering if someone could recommend a tool maker, mechanic, etc. in Sydney who could make one for me.

Tried to find one in yellow pages, etc. but it appears that profession is now completely extinct.
    At least in Sydney...

    Thank you!
  2. Extreme creations do one off custom parts etc etc
  3. you could use a cad program to build a model on a 3d printer, once you get the right dimensions you could go to a engineering shop that uses a cnc machine and lathe ( most are computer programmed ) they use the dimensions on the cad to make your parts.
Check out extreme creations in sydney , they might be able to help you
