Where to buy EBC brake pads

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' at netrider.net.au started by Simon Lockington, Jun 8, 2009.

  1. Gidday guys,
Just wondering if you knew where I could buy some EBC brake pads for my GSX650F?

  2. Try Dandenong Motorcycles ... I'm sure they keep EBC in stock.
If you tell em I sent ya, they'll prob rip you off
  3. I have EBC greenstuff pads on my car and I bought them from http://www.hightekbrakes.com.au/

I didn't ask them if they did bike pads at the time but brakes are their business so I'd say it's likely.
  4.  Top
  5. Buy FERODO...

I work in the automotive industry and deal with disc brakes 100% of each day and if you saw what EBC pads to do car discs...

The kevlar content in them is wonderful for wear... but it dosn't dissipate heat through the pad, it forces the heat back into the disc and destroys them.

I will NEVER use EBC pads on my bike.
  6. Car discs and bike discs are made of different sorts of materials, though, aren't they?
  7. Your too right.

    Cars = cast iron
Motorbikes = majority are Stainless steel

However the same principles apply to friction and dissipation of heat.

I stand by my comment. I would NEVER fit EBC pads.

    Go with Ferodo.

and no i dont sell Ferodo or have any alliance with Ferodo.
