Getting lots of debug messages when posting in the last 2 days
what's going on?
We are running out of memory on our server and it's corrupting the database tables.
I have repaired the corrupt table so the error should stop happening.
We may have to upgrade the server if our optimisation fails to correct it.
I think it's time that the $5 handling fee gets upped to $10 to assist in the hosting charges
If memory on the server is a problem, then perhaps the membership fee should reflect the volume of posts a member makes.....
Wheres RC and Hornet now
Broke, by that measurement!!! (or making a takeover bid!!!)
The $5 membership is the cheapest and best fun I've had for a long while, I'd be happy to pay more for the stability. You can't join too many clubs for five bucks these days!
just delete the jokes and humour posts...
that way there will be more space and people can repost old jokes again. and this time nobody can complain that it is a repost coz the originals will have gone...
At least any that'll have you...
Personally I have never had a problem with RC & Hornet and the amount that they post.
I read topics that interest me. Many do not, I skip them. To me the forums are the same either way with them posting or not.
I think some of users post nothing but rubbish, do I delete them? of course not.
Hornet is right though, you get a lot for a one off $5 fee. Actually, some forum members don't even pay that.
Oh and nearly all clubs have an annual fee not a once off fee
We rely on merchandise sales, advertising and once off membership fees to pay the bills.
Did everyone see that suttle "merchandise sales" HINT!!!!
