Where best to test ride?

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by scrambler, Mar 7, 2008.

  1. Hi guys, haven't posted here for a while, but it's good to know there's always a place to come for good advice.

I'm looking at getting a new bike. The Speed Triple is looking good ATM. I've also noticed the SV600, Z750 and a couple of others bringing up the rear.
Any advice on where's the best place to test ride these? (I'd rather go to one spot to check out all three.)

  2. In Germany on the Autobahn
  3. Hi Scrambler,
Depends on where you're borrowing it from. The only place close to the city with some decent corners is The Boulevard in Kew. you need to scout it out for "collectors" first, though. You can also give it a squirt on the Eastern Freeway from this point.
If you're out east, I would head for Mountain Highway.
good luck with the purchase :)
  4. WTF??? They are all strait lines, how do you test the cornering?
  5. Oh, let me rephrase that.
Which part of town has dealers that have demo models of these three bikes to take for a ride?
