I just got a Christmas card in the mail.
It's F#cking November still people!
Tell that to the people in the shopping centres.
The christmas stuff has been out for months already.
Christmas . . . Bah! Humbug!
merry november triway!
Ohhhh, FCUK! XMAS cards!
I think that belongs in the other thread..............
Least someone is thinking of you
I what until the 24th then send them all via email
Nah, it was from a supplier, not a person, no handwriting on it, just printed and bulk mailed.
Well I've started working on mine ........
OMG, I know that goat
was that goat at the easter show?
Big night was it!!!!
No - he resides @ the Tanglewood menagerie
well i've just written up 75 christmas cards for clients over the last coupla days. for the first time ever i watched day-time tv to keep me company while i did them. thank god there was a jack black flick on yesterday
20 to go then work out pressies. but i figured i'd wait a week or two to send them - you're right, late november seems a bit uncivilised.
... and then i can think about family and friends :? there's something a bit warped about these priorities
my kids school had the christmas concert last night - needless to say, Christmas is in December, not November, and there are two more school weeks - so why have it yesterday??
Convenience, most likely. Traditions get tossed out the window if things are inconvenient for people.
Just like cigerette butts sorry wrong thread
possibly because there's so much people usually have on in december that they'd rather have the concert early so it doesn't clash with a milllion other functions and thereby increase the likelihood of more people coming.
