  1. For my Monster . . . .

    Lets Get Loud - J-Lo
. . obviously for the Termis.
    Thats Amoré - Dean Martin
    . . that Italian thing.

    For the VTR . . . .

    Black Betty - Spiderbait
Dirty - Christina Aguilera ( I never wash the matte-black VTR)
  2. Jesus Micky, only you could have started this thread....

    J-Lo indeed......
  3. Born to be Mild......
  4. Slow Ride - Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band

I dig the swirling guitar licks and hip percussion syncopation.

In the early days of Black Betty and midnight rides, somehow each time I returned to the garage, this song seemed to be on the radio...

'twas a great way to cool down and listen to the engine creakin sounds as she cooled down.

  5. Old man down the road.

Because I'm getting old and I've fallen off 3 times recently.
  6. The Raiders Song...

"the bad and mean, green machine...

    fearsome men from the ACT..."

Except my bike is a girl
  7. "I sound like a lawnmower"

From the album "An ode to the GPX250"

  8. 'Riding along on a pushbike honey'
cos i just like pottering along :)

  9. Oh c'mon Campbell . . . it was 1am in the morning when I put up the post. You know I'm a better thinker at that time of the morning !

chickbabe (Lou) reckons the song for me generally should be REVHEAD by Adam Brand ! . . . .because its so true !!

The song for the Duc was originally Sexy Back - Timberlake (because it was bringing sexy back !!!). . . . but someone here disapproves of it and i got too much shit over it that it was ghey! :p

What ! The Cliff Richards version !!
Do you ride a cruiser ???

But as the song goes, do you"look so pretty, as your riding along . . . ."? ;)

    /charm mode off
  10. dude.
We all know yours is Farewell To The Wiggly Trail -by- The Wiggles

  11. 'Pushing the Norton', 5th Business I think were the band - on a bad day.
'Wiggle Stick' - Reverend Horton Heat - on a good day. Would've gone for 'Slow Ride' but I got beaten to it :)
  12. Juice - Steve Vai... Particularly the cheeky harmonic squealies near the end.
  13. For the GSXF:

    Fat-bottomed Girls, by Queen!
  14. Cool Rider from Grease 2
  15. Megadeth - High Speed Dirt.

"Energy of the gods, adrenalin surge
Wont stop til I hit the ground, Im on my way for sure
Up here in the air, this will never hurt
Im on my way to impact, taste the high speed dirt"

So fitting for fast paced off road riding.
  16. AINT NOTHING GONNA BREAK MY STRIDE - Ace of Base when im riding fast....

When my bike was all broken, the best song would have been "ILL BE MISSING YOU" by p diddy and "wish you were here" by pink floyd

When I survived my first real ride in peak traffic, probably "Hallelujah", then probably "gonna fly now" when I got it tuned up.

When I saw my friends VTR 1000 Firestorm probably "I will always love you" by whiteney houston and "You were ment for me" by jewel.

I could go into some black humour ones...but I won't...unless you ask :p

On a serious note, probably "fear of the dark" by iron maiden suits me...
  17. @ this thread.

I reckon for my Virago it has to be Queen
"I want to break free" cos I can't wait to upgrade.
  18. Perfect for my Norton....since it broke down 7 times riding/pushing from Thornbury to Camberwell.

Maybe "Ride of the Valkyries" for the BMW. Quincy Jones is a goer for the Shaguar...Soul Bosa Nova. Or maybe "The Revolution Will not be Televised", Gil Scott-Heron...for no particular reason! :)

  19. When I'm riding along on my Spada I often find myself singing "Rock Lobster" by the B52s. I think it would suit my little bike because it's just a happy lil machine jumbling along the road trying to be as badass as the cruisers that pass me on the freeway, the riders smug and angry underneath their skull and crossbone bandannas.

    But yeah.. random thread much?

  20.

I was thinking the same thing. It's wierd. Lately thats the song that pops into my head whenever I take off for my daily commute on the Spada.
