Have a look at your frame number on the gooseneck , that'll tell yah the model its usually the first few digets ie: GN250P. 1232456789890
  6. Serious flashback!!!!! Can you remember what his name (Horshack) meant? (Feel free to Google)
  7. ????

  8. .
..thanks for all your help !!!!
  9. I'd raise a very suprised eyebrow in your direction if it turned out that the GN250 changed very much at all over the course of its production run, ie. a GN250 part is a GN250 part is a GN250 part... I've got a 1982 GN250 and most of a 1992 GN250 in the garage and I'll be buggered if I can tell them apart...

...to answer your query, Suzuki, like Honda, use an ISO standard for model designation; a GN250J is a 1988 model, a GN250K is a 1989, GN250L a 1990, GN250M a 1991... you get the idea (skip the wovels, though; A 1992 model is the GN250N, but the 1993 model is the GN250P not the GN250O).
