At the moment they are kinda dirty unpolished alloy (silver) in colour. I want to polish the outer rims and paint the spokes and inner rim.

After opinions on what colour you think would look good.

I was thinking just black or silver, but maybe something more bright would look good too?

  2. Black with polished outter would go nicely i think
  3. Polished black.

    Makes the chain grease invisible.
  4. Kawasaki Green!
  5. Use the time you would otherwise spend painting your bike on riding it ;)
  6. Powder coat them grey. Like the r32 GTR.
  7. mmmm green.

  9. looks really nice as is in the pic
  10. painting rims is a rip off.

they will have to be taken off, cleaned to perfection, painted and then put back on.

i reckon that you are looking at way more money than you think, especially when your mechanic / painter charges upwards of 50 bucks an hour. the last mechanic i went to charged 80 an hour ...

good luck with it though, black is the go though. green will look crap on a black / silver bike, even if it is a kwaka

  12. Labour is free cos im a mechanic already, just needed some creative advice.

I think i'll go with the majority and polish the rims, painting the spokes black.

I'll also re-paint the calipers gold and the centre part of the discs.
  13. I reckon a deep purple would be nice, something classy and subtle...
