Wet weather foot wear

Discussion in 'Riding Gear and Bike Accessories/Parts' at netrider.net.au started by Tweetster, Dec 18, 2009.

  1. It is raining today in Sydney. I saw a young guy on a scooter with plastic shopping bags wrapped around his feet!!

... Dry feet, but probably not good traction!!
  2. If you are going to use plastic shopping bags, and I have done so while touring a few times, it's better to put them on over your socks then put your boots on. It does make your feet sweat a little bit, but it's preferable to having soaking feet.

I keep a pair of rubber overboots in my bike all the time and they work really well. They have a ribbed sole so that you don't slip in them and they keep your feet completely dry.
  3. supercheap sell wet gear that includes the jacket, pants gloves and shoes
