Well used ER6 or Versys?

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' started by the mole, Aug 23, 2012.

  1. Anyone out there got a high mileage ER6 or Versys?
Just want to know about their durability/reliability/oil consumption.

  2. How come you posted this same thread like 40 times?
  3. 1. To annoy you.

    2. Because mod reckoned it was in the wrong area and closed thread so I had to re-post.

    3. Why does 2=40?

    4. Does your nose really look like a carrot?
  4. mine did 50000k until it was killed by a SUV. looked after it and it was running perfectly. it used a little oil, but nothing dramatic. from memory I'd top it up once or twice between services.
  5. My ER never missed a beat....

The parallel twin is a proven motor with lots of potential (most of the Isle of Man TT 600 series are pretty much tuned and striped down ER's)
