Was any one riding around Mansfield at Easter??

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by pvda, May 30, 2006.

  1. There's a story in today's Herald-Sun about a Suzuki Mighty Boy paddock bomb based near Colac got booked by a speed camera near Mansfield on Good Friday.

Obviously the owner is questioning the fine and the blame is being pointed at a motorcycle being the culprit.

So if you own a bike with a rego along the lines of GJ-2?? or CJ-2?? (Hard to make out in the pic in the paper) and you were around Mansfield on Good Friday you could be getting a very late Easter present in the mail
  2. So what's the problem exactly? He says the car was no-where near Mansfield. Why don't they just look at the photo? If it's his car with his plate then he's full of shit. If it's a motorcycle with a different plate there will be distincive differences in its appearence as opposed to the ute and will prove him innocent. It's not fcuking rocket surgery. :?
  3. But that would make them do some actual work instead of focusing on more revenue
  4. Do you really think some of these people can tell the difference between a small ute and a motorcycle?

There are people there who can't count past 1. :?
    on the
Channel 10 news 5.35 pm tonight
    after the break
how a paddock bomb was caught speeding 1/2 a state away
  6. the fine has been cancelled
the police admittted to getting it wrong :soapbox:
  7. The police getting it wrong???? surely that doesnt happen :|
  8. Well it might be difficult to tell the difference between a Suzuki Mighty Boy & what may well turn out to be a Suzuki motorcycle
  9. Between a Mighty Boy and a wheelbarrow maybe?

  10. OYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me and my Kat resent that.
