Want more horsepower, the RS-25 has it in abundance.

    Ever felt the need for more horsepower. The RS-25 engine has more that you need.
    • 12 million horsepower.
    • Fuel pumps that could drain a swimming pool in a minute.
    • 200 Horsepower/kilogram power to weight ratio.
    • One blade of its turbine produces as much horsepower as a Corvette ZR1
    You may find it hard to fit on your bike though.

    The SR-25 ex space shuttle engines are being tested with the goal of using them on the new Space Launch System (SLS). While the shuttle engines were re-usable they will be single use on the SLS. Current testing is aimed at peaking the performance and simplifying the design for single use roles.
