  1. I have purchased a Honda VT250C with a good engine but bent frame as a parts donor for the bike in my profile pic and now the opportunity has arisen to purchase a VTR250 with a blown engine but good everything else.
Will my spare VT250C engine go straight into the VTR frame or are the mounts different?
    Thanks in advance.
    Rob.

  2. Isn't the VT250C motor a big old air/oil cooled lump, and the VTR250 a much more recent water cooled motor?

  3. No.
They're both water cooled V twins that have been in use for many years.

The frame on the VT250C you have pictured is slightly different to mine but it still illustrates, I think, the problem that I face.
The VTR frame has a centre engine mount between the cylinders that the VT engine lacks.
Not possible to swap the VT engine into a VTR frame is my guess?
