VTR 250 Fuel line problem

Discussion in 'Technical and Troubleshooting Torque' started by Boska, Sep 19, 2007.

  1. Hey all, I recently split the main fuel line on my VTR250. I went and got a new 1/4" line but ever since putting it on its been riding heaps sluggish & feels like its flooding while I'm riding. i tried switching ova to use the reserve line to see if that would make any difference but its still riding crap.
any ideas to what might be the problem?

  2. flooding?

i would be checking that you havent got the fuel line kinked and the bike is starving for fuel
  3. +1 , also there is a small chance that some gunk may have got in the carb and jammed it up.
  4. you were spot on mate, it was kinked, running like a dream now. thanks heaps
