Video Editting

  1. I have two .VOB files that i'm looking to merge while keeping the same quality. Can anyone advise me on a program to do so for a Mac?

  2. iMovie and/or iDVD?

I can't remember if these are installed on a Mac by default or if you need to purchase them. I think they (or one of at least) will do what you want.

That said, haven't really used a Mac now for a few years.
  3. Virtual dub maybe?
  4. Imovie - comes with iLife
  5. I have iMovie, but once I imported the videos it destroyed the quality. even exporting as .mov it was terrible
  6. check your version of iLife - I had an old one (2008?) and it absolutely butchered videos on import ... but then I upgraded to (I think) 2010 and had no issues.

If you want to send me one I'll see if it imports and send it back to you before you lay out any cash if you like.
