[VIC] Woodend - Tylden Rd

Discussion in 'Hazardous Road Condition Reports' at netrider.net.au started by boots_74, Jan 30, 2014.

  1. Very poor road surface -ruts and potholes . They have put signage out and reduced the speed limit near Tylden .

  3. It's been like that for about 18 months.

Putting up a few 60 signs is much cheaper than fixing it obviously.

    Then oh oh !!
Approximately 1km of what was a road and is now finally being repaired ,
currently not bitumen , just dirt n gravel ....

Will be a good road one day ** rollseyes **

    Further update.

Currently the section of this road just before the river Woodend side is pure mud.No idea what they are doing, but it is not gravel, more like clay and they keep pooring more water on it so the whole thing is sodden. It is incredibly slippery and my poor bike is now covered with the stuff up to the top of the radiator.

If it is still like this when you arrive I suggest you just turn around (unless you have knobbly tyres)
