Witness appeal to motorcycle crash at Fawkner

    Thursday, 05 July 2012 20:12

Police are appealing for witnesses following a motorcycle crash at Fawkner yesterday.

It is believed that an orange Yamaha motorcycle was travelling south on Sydney Road near the on ramp to the Western Ring Road just before 10pm.

Investigators have been told the Yamaha was allegedly cut off by a taxi travelling in the same direction on the on ramp which caused the man to fall from his motorcycle.

The rider, a 42-year-old Epping man, was taken to the Royal Melbourne hospital with serious hand injuries.

Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.crimestoppers.com.au

Thought I'd give this some exposure. Hope the driver is apprehended.

  2. More miss-leading propaganda.

Why are they so down on taxis? Oh... wait.
  3. don't taxi companies keep GPS Logs?

@smileedude ... that'd be at least 75% of the fleet!
