VIC Speed Camera Locations.

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' started by wodka, Nov 29, 2008.

  1. interesting.. nice find
  2. Google helped me find a more manageable list. An example is like http://www.uniquecarsandparts.com.au/speed_camera_locations_victoria.htm

I also downloaded POIs (basically locations of the speed/red light etc camera known locations into my GPS) for my TomTom rider. Comes in handy from beeping 100metres or so before each location of known fixed and mobile cameras. Obviously the mobile camera won't be there all the time but it pays to be more safe than sorry so they say
  3. Love the TomTom in my wife's car. Was considering one for the bike.
Just wondering how you hear the beeps on the TomTom Rider?
  4. I recall reading a little "how to" on setting up what distance to set up "beeps before a POI" web page a few years ago.

Ok, super quick google gave me:

Now run TomTom and see if your files are there.

    1. Make sure that you show POI in preferences.
    2. Goto manage POI and enable POI
    3. Select warn when near POI and set sounds

    That's it you're done!

  5. Mine's set to display a red Question mark on the screen from 500metres

    Edit: it's not a tom-tom though it's Aldi no-name
