Discussion in 'VIC' at netrider.net.au started by SOBIL, Oct 19, 2007.

  1. Hey all, im doing a ride to Yea tomorrow to introduce a mate to some of the nice corners around melbourne.

I anticipate it to be reasonable fast paced ride with regular regrouping for slower riders. If you have ridden with me then its going to be as you would expect. If you havn't then call first. Im expecting to have maybee half a dozen on the ride, more than a dozen then we will do a leader/tec thing.

Leave Point: Peter Stevens City Workshop
587 Elizebeth St, City [crn Queensburry St]
Call if you want to meet at the end of the eastern at a later time.

Meet Time: 9:00am (leaving 9:30)[full tanks and tummys please]

Destination: Yea for lunch. possible spur laps after lunch pending motivation.

for any info gimme a buzzin the morning.
  2. Sounds like a plan. See you soon.

  3. was a good ride despite the small numbers.

I had a bit of a spill out jamison way. bit of gravel on the road and me leaving no room for error. Bike copped a bit. limped back to the roadhouse where ray helped me out with some parts to get me home. Thanks a heap mate.

after a stop off at coffee and a bit of encouragement from the lovely people there i stopped in at the hospital on the way home. turns out i've done a bit of damge to a little bone in my wrist. Im casted up atm, and wont know till during the week when i see the specialist if i will need a pin or not.

either way, a thanks to cam for showing me some nice roads that i
    havn't done before.
  4. Sorry to hear that, get well soon.

No worries. Thanks again for posting the ride.
  5. I think we saw you guys. I was in the group of 5. Leader for most was on an Aprilia dirt bike, similar to the KTM bike as well we had. Also a guy with a Duc monster and a Z1000 with me on my 675
