VIC - lane splitting caught on camera?

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' started by Pinx, Sep 27, 2006.

  1. Ok, forgive me if this has been done. I searched but didn't find exactly this...

Will anyone looking at the cameras on the freeways/CityLink bother zooming in to catch lane splitters or is it purely to monitor traffic flow?

And what about speed cameras such as through the Burnley Tunnel or at traffic lights? I was stuck in slow traffic and wasn't sure if I was bound to get a fine if I split.

And same again for cameras at toll points. Do they ever have a double function to catch us splitting?

  2. those cams are for instant footage of our fwys, for safety e.g. crashes congestion not speed or splittin, if ya did it past the same cam every day u may get noticed but ur just one more lemming to big brother
