[VIC] Kinglake St Andrews Rd

Discussion in 'Hazardous Road Condition Reports' started by DRMAT, Jan 1, 2010.

  1. Caught the end of a radio report about a landslip along Kinglake St Andrews Rd (i think it was) after all the rain last night and they were still cleaning up so probably very dirty up there still i'd imagine.

  2. I rode that road this afternoon about 4.00 and every corner had mud and gravel on it.Very slippery so be careful if you use it for the next few days.
  3. I made a comment in another thread only minutes ago that with the loss of vegetation above and below the road due to the fires that road is going to have regular land slips for years.
  4. Yeah I have been noticing several small slips over the months when it rains. NOt surprising there has been a big one I guess.
  5. That Road is a demanding stretch at the best of times.

Having said that; it was the best fun before it was sealed.
