Discussion in 'Roads, Touring, Journeys, and Travel' at netrider.net.au started by shady_knife, Oct 16, 2008.

  1. Found this great stretch of road yesterday, went along it again today going the other way, its fantastic. so if any of you live out this way, i suggest a ride.

i rode along there around 2:00 or 2:30pm and didn't see 1 car the whole way.

Pros: Roads are in fairly good condition, minimal traffic, Scenery is great in some parts, better if you go through tarabulga.

Cons:care of gravel and fallen branches

it's not a long ride unless you want to continue through tarabulga national park.

road start and end marked in pink. thanks to google maps.

the Blackwarry Carrajung road i THINK is gravel, haven't tried it out yet.
  2. Yes its a nice little road.
THIS is how you use Google Maps

Blackwarry Carrajung Road has about 6km in the middle that is gravel.
