[VIC] Dermit points on L's and P's with Full Car licence

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' started by GreenKawa, Jan 6, 2010.

  1. Hi guys,
I done a bit of a search on this and could not fine any answers.
I have a full car licence, and I am on my motorbike L's. I have lost points in my car while on the bike L's. When I get my P's will the year period of 5 points within a year begin again or will the points from the L's carry forward.

  2. If you have a full car licence you DO NOT go to 'P's on a bike. You will have a FULL motorcycle licence, but with a 12 month restriction to a LAMS bike and no pillion. The 5 point rule will not apply to you but any points racked up on the bike will also affect the car licence!
  3. Thanks for the quick reply, its a relief
  4. Of course, as a fellow newbie you wont be speeding anyway...

  5. No of course not, but I recently moved house and collected 4, 5km over the limit in 100 zone over the last month and a half from a static camera I did not know about:cry:
Well at least I doing my bit to provide the government with revenue.
