[VIC] cnr Belgrave-Hallam Rd + Colby Dr (Sep 18)

Discussion in 'Hazardous Road Condition Reports' at netrider.net.au started by lokimojo, Sep 18, 2010.

  1. I had a near-miss recently when turning into Colby Dr from Belgrave-Hallam Rd in Belgrave. I'm sure there are not many of you that would be turning into that street, but if I can prevent one more near-miss then it has been worth it..

There is a lot of gravel at the apex of the corner, which has obviously been there for sometime (judging by the number of tyre tracks through it). Take the corner with extra caution as the gravel is invisible until you are well into it. This is largely a problem if you are coming from Hallam way and turning left into Colby Drive.

I have contacted Vicroads about it today and they have sent someone to clear it up, but I will update this thread when job is done :)
