[VIC] Cnr Bay St, Beach Rd, Port Melbourne

Discussion in 'Hazardous Road Condition Reports' started by grue, Feb 14, 2013.

  1. Asshat construction crew kicking gravel and chunks of blacktop all over, big metal plates to temporarily cover holes in the road (including the apex of the turn in one lane), rough blacktop work, etc.

It's a death turn going from Bay to Beach right now, be aware.

  2. Update: Apex metal plate is gone, still a couple in the "braking zone" for the leftmost lane. Still lots of gravel and detritus.

  3. Been noticing this too.....

Also - lots of crap as you turn into Bay street off Beach street heading into the city......heaps of gravel and crap on the curbside edge of the left turning lane...

TBH - notice this much more on the pushbike than the MOTO as I am further over to the left.
