Versys softroader?

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' at netrider.net.au started by NJS, Jul 16, 2008.

  1. Has anyone taken their Versys down the dusty tracks of this land? Nothing too rough, thinking a bit of corrugation, loose surface.

  2. You'll be fine if you take it easy

Any bike can do smooth gravel, some just do it a bit better

Road tyres wont help much, but upright riding position at least let you stand on the pegs if you have to.

    Watch out for potholes
  3. Yup for nice dirt roads are fine on any bike if you take it easy.

Hehe yeah I like standing on my SVs pegs over bumps and what not, the somewhat sporty bars make it interesting
  4. Aaand - we're back to 'does my arse look big on this?' ;)
  5.  Top
  6. cough... cough..... r1 anyone?
  7. if my er6 can do some dirt.. im sure the versys will have no issue.
