Ventura rack

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by deafwish, Jul 25, 2005.

  1. Sorry about all the tech questions all.......
I have a Ventura rack (large one) and it has lost the bolts that attach the top part to the bottom. Can you buy these individually?
I've also seen a small grab rail you can put in place of the large rack when you don't need it. Are these pricey?
    Daz.

  2. Bolts are available from MCAS in Parramatta (Sydney) and I'd guess other places too. Buy three if two are missing, so you've got a spare, and also buy the little tool that undoes them and three of the yellow plastic covers (one for a spare, again)
  3. The grab rail is handy, especially if you do track days; not too pricey.
  4. ~$25
  5. Wot 'e said. Venturas are very expensive initial outlay but parts for them seem quite reasonable. They also have the benefit of having a very wide dealer network. I lost a bolt from mine in Albury on a tour and just rocked up to the local bike shop and walked out with the spares!
  6. Bolts: They sell them at Bike Mart in Ringwood - $6 for a pair I think.
