  1. Hi all,

Picking up my bike on Wednesday from a dealer in Elizabeth Street, Melbourne. I just clicked that 5.30pm on a weekday in the CBD might not be the best time to get used to the bike. I've ridden a heap on an auto (moped) but I've just bought a VTR and the power of the bike and clutch are sure to make for a couple of hairy hours.

Any tips on Queen Vic market carpark on Wednesday nights? Can I expect it to be nice and clear? Any riders up for volunteering their time and patience to help me break in the bike?

  2. Welcome to NR!
  3. I think the market is closed mon and wed, so you should be pretty much OK.

You have a sensible idea; Get your bike, get a nice snack for a while, get used to it somewhere quiet, and ride home after the traffic is gone. That's good. Good luck and congrats.
