[UK] Motorcycles targeted with new multi-directional cameras

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' started by pro-pilot, Apr 7, 2008.

  1. Well, it appears that the issue for front plates is pretty moot, especially when observing some of the new systems that are out there, specifically designed to capture motorcyclists.

I would have though that for such a small number of offences per capita by riders that these systems would be pretty cost prohibitive.

Unless it fits into the broader surveillance requirements.

  2. well hoo-bloody-ray for that.

The issue wasn't about tracking and privacy - it was front plates because of poor planning. Now they've fixed that problem, we can move onto the other thing.

That would depend upon which Labor Party 'mate' is in favour at the time - the one developing the new number plate system, or the one developing the new camera system
    (Jeez, I'm a cynic....)
  4. Whoever pieced that video together should be electrocuted.

Talk about a mish-mash of crap footage and music
