ok so they got some hackers put em in a room and ran aiport and border software, and watched the hackers do their thing, and mess it up in order to improve it,
It is no different to the old-fashioned wargaming. You assign a group as the bad guys, give them free reign to defeat you and see how you deal with it. But in this case instead of conventional warfare it is Information Warfare.
Oh, and I didn't see anywhere in the article where it called bloggers and reporters "terrorists". It called them villains. Which if they are committing cyber-crime or deliberately misleading the public to cause hysteria is an apt description.
Oh good, someone from the government finally watched "Die Hard 4".
I wonder that they thought of the movie?
