Tyre inflating

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by Avenger, Aug 13, 2009.

  1. Hey guys,

Quick question about inflating your tyres..

I currently ride a VTR250, straight forward to inflate the tyres.

I'm getting a new ride next month which has two big disks on the front, i cant see how i'm going to be able to get the air hose (standard servo type) in between the disks..

Do you guys carry a hose extension or somthing? Or have your own compressor at home?

  2. The valve tube is bendy at the bottom you bend it over and slide the nozzle over it.

you have to use the angled end of nozzle.

I can't describe it so heres a pic of the end to use.
  3. Okay, thanks dude. I have never tried using the other end of the nozzle.

    Will give it a go.
  4. What I did when I needed to put air in the tires for the first time was go the the station when it would be quiet so I could try and mess it up a couple of times without pissing others off.
