Forgot to mention they come with RWC
  3. I coulda sworn those were a legal requirement for the sale of any fully registered vehicle...

  4. You can buy the vehicle without a RWC, just means you have to go grab one yourself. You do NEED a RWC to change names/ownership at VicRoads. VicRoads don't care about where and how you obtain the RWC. :)
  5. Yeah your right, it's not in-forced though.

It is technically illegal to sell a bike with rego and no roadworthy. How do I know, I called and asked!!
  6. Registered vehicles
A registered vehicle must be sold with a Certificate of Roadworthiness (RWC). You can still transfer registration up to 3 months after it expires. After this time the registration will be cancelled.

    Seller’s responsibilities

provide the buyer with a Certificate of Roadworthiness that is no more than 30 days old when the sale takes place.
fill in the ‘seller’ part of the Application for Transfer of Registration form

I checked the website (relevant page), myself :p.

It's just one of those little things that's been bugging me when I have my occasional look through BikeSales/Gumtree/etc. :).

  7. Thank you kindly for the enlightenment. Never knew it was law...I guess I got confused with "registered" and "non-registered" vehicles.
  8. No worries.

If you think about it, it's beneficial to both buyer and seller; Buyer gets piece of mind that the vehicle is at least roadworthy, and the seller gets an arse-cover in case something does go wrong.

Anyway, enough with the derailing 8-[. Someone buy an RVF, quick!

Also, both bikes have new air filters

I have never had any trouble getting parts for them
  13. I wonder if there's a way to convert these into VFR400.....

Looking for the unrestricted versions that are getting very hard to find.
  14. Why would you want to? You'd be going backwards.RVF have a smaller swing arm, upside down forks and the engine is located lower compared to the VFR meaning better centre of gravity. If I had the money, I'd buy one...
  15. Hi
    These bikes are not restricted
  16. If I had the cash I'd pay today.
  17. Thanks Lilley
I wish I could keep them too, they are so much fun
  18. We have a service manual for the RVF's and will give it to the first person who buy's one of these bikes
  19. Both bikes will be sold with 12 months reg
  20. Rego for both bikes has just been paid so they both have 12 months reg

    Price dropped

    $7,300 for original

    $6,300 for black/blue

    These prices are negotiable
