Triumph RIII Reliability

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' started by JohnG., Feb 9, 2008.

  1. I've been hearing a few reports lately of failures with RIII's...
Most dramas seem to be main gearbox bearings & oil pumps
on very low mileage machines used for trike or 'chair work...
    anyone know more...?? Thx

  2. To many wheelies

They look like, sound like and should last like a Mack truck.
  3. Comfy as all sin, sat on one today. Didn't have the balls to take it out for a test ride tho, I thought it would be best if the first cruiser I ride wasn't the biggest one.
  4. What does "chair work" mean?
  5. Having a side car attached :)
