  1. Review is here

    Review included the following bikes:
    Honda CBR 600RR
    Kawasaki ZX-6R
    Suzuki GSX-R600
    Triumph 675
    Yamaha YZF R6

You need subscription to read the full review, but in brief summary:

Triumph 675 came in 1st, by a unanimous vote of the 5 test riders, both for track and road focus.

The Kawasaki (636cc), and Yamaha came in equal 2nd, with the nod to the Yamaha for track handling focus, and the Kawasaki for better road focus albeit slightly "numb" at the track.

A very close 3rd went to the CBR600, with its hard-core track focus letting it down once street riding is factored into the equation. Quite a surprising
observation to make about a Honda I thought.

Lastly was the GSXR600. Not due to being bad at all, but also now a heavily track focused bike, but in the reviewers eyes edged out for track duty by a number of the other bikes, and for road duty with its peaky motor and most uncomfortable riding position of all the bikes reviewed, seemed to be what tipped the balance against it. i.e. Great track bike, arguably the equal of the others depending on your tastes, but not good for the road.
