Transporting Bike

Discussion in 'General Motorcycling Discussion' started by Fleb, Jun 15, 2008.

  1. Hey All,

I am looking at buying a bike interstate at the moment (07 cbr600rr) and am wondering what is the best means of transportation?

I have my P's at the moment so wont be able to just ride the bike back :( I have available a ute to bring it back on or will organise a trailer if needed. Haven't had any luck finding any in the Wagga Wagga area.

I transported my current GPX250 on back of ute no problem but the cbr is in a little bit of a different class.

Any advise at all is appreciated.

    Kind Regards,

  2. I'd take the ute.
If it's necessary, stop every so often to check the straps etc..
  3. With teh current prices of fuel, specialised bike transport compares well.
    Look into it.

    Regards, Andrew.
