Transporting bike Across the Nullabor

Discussion in 'Businesses and Service Providers' at netrider.net.au started by dleesteere, May 15, 2012.

  1. hi everyone,
I'm in Perth and am looking for a seconhand F 800 GS, and it seems they are all on the east coast. Rather than riding it back (I'm a bit time-poor at the moment), I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good company to use to transport it over here for me.

    Any suggestions would be great.
  2. I know a bloke who would ride across the country for a nominal fee and return airfare...
  3. thanks, I'll keep you in mind.
  4. So do I :D.
  5. thought about rail?
bikenut might be a company you can try
  6. I was recently looking at transporting a bike from WA to Sydney.

Looked into a few companies. They were all going to cost about $850 - door to door. Some only go to depot's so ask before you buy!
