Transporting A Bike With Steering Locked.

Discussion in 'Businesses and Service Providers' started by Banana.Monster, Nov 12, 2012.

  1. Hi,

Someone recently decided that a screwdriver would be the best way to steal a bike from two floors below ground, they did not succeed but now I have to get my bike from two floors below to the bike shop across town to get the new lock fitted... with the steering lock on and no way to unlock it that I know of (key does not work anymore due to screwdriver+hammer treatment). Bike is a 2009 Suzuki bandit 1250s, not a light bike.

Does anyone know a company that could help with this in the south west Sydney area, I would be really thankful.
  2. Borrow someones skateboard and put it under the front wheel.
While they're waiting for their skateboard back get them to help you push it up the ramp (and across town)
  3. That sucks about the damage.
    Hire/borrow a trailer?

Box trailers are not a lot of coin to hire for a few hours.
  4. go borrow a bunnings trolley or similar, then strap it on.
