NSW Transfering From NSW Learner Rider to Queensland R Licence

Discussion in 'Politics, Laws, Government & Insurance' at netrider.net.au started by wodawick, Jul 5, 2011.

  1. Hi guys

First post but i am in a bit of a sticky situatuion.

I have a learner r licence in NSW and i am moving to queensland and want to transfer my licence over. I have had my open licence for over 5 years now i am nearly 25. i just want some advice on where to go or what to do cause the Queensland transport website was useless and didn't make any sense at all. Is there some why to skip P1's or even P2's in QLD seeing i'll be 25 next week.

    Regards

    Adam

  2. You will need to do a q-ride course to get off your L's then will be issued with an open license for an RE class bike which limits you to LAMS bikes for the first year, then you will need to do another q-ride course to upgrade to an R class license
