Trading in a car for a bike?

Discussion in 'Businesses and Service Providers' started by lunatic_luke, Nov 28, 2006.

  1. Hello,

As the title says, do bike dealerships generally take cars as a trade in?
Having a lot of trouble selling my car and the thought just occurred to me.

    Thanks all

  2. hey luke,
i have never heard of a bike dealership trading a car in however your best bet is maybe to ask if anyone there actually is looking for a car,
otherwise im sorry for being so unhelpful
out of interest what car is it exactly you are trying to get rid of?

  3. No but I have done it the other way around for a bike I couldn't sell. I traded it at a car yard.
  4. Some do, some don't. Some say they do, then say they don't.

You'll just have to ask the bike shops.
  5. For the link to work you might have to uncheck the "Disable BBCode in this post" button; below the message area when you "post reply".
  6. Nope..that box was unchecked, when I went into "edit post" and tried again.

    tried again no luck
