Touchup paint

Discussion in 'Bling and Appearance' started by david85dc, Jul 14, 2008.

  1. Hi Guys,

    I'm wondering where i can get some touch-up paint for my bike to cover a few scratches she has.

    not interested in a respray, just want to get some touch up paint (like you do when you buy a new car - little nail polish bottle full of paint).

    Anyone got any ideas?

    i had a search and saw some people use spray cans, but I'm only fixing small scratches..

    colour is dark blue.

  2. Find out the paint number and go to your local auto paint specialist.

  3. Nooooo....just go in and ask for "dark blue." They'll know which dark blue you mean. Its just like asking for black. :wink:
  4. You'll need to know how much dark it has in it.
  5. Phone original finish in Kilsyth. Link should be in the links directory, give Ian your paint code number and he'll make you up a bottle and send it to you COD.

    Too easy.

    They used to have a website;

    Need a widescreen monitor to fit the bastard on the screen
  6. alternativly u can take the panel to a auto paint supply and get them to match it for you.
    Ask for 250ml(u normaly cant get less paint) in acrylic should cost ya about $30
