Too many Km's?

Discussion in 'Bike Reviews, Questions and Suggestions' at netrider.net.au started by noobie_rider, Jul 10, 2006.

  1. Guys,

I'm looking to upgrade to a '00-'03 R6 .... cause its the only thing i can afford. How many km's on the dile is too much for a second hand R6?
What price range should I be looking at?

  2. Go check its redbook value, then to be more accurate go check out bikesales or ebay.au (or any sites similar) to get a rough idea what they sell for, and with how many Ks.
  3. The odometer reading is irrelevant if the bike hasn't been serviced properly.
Alternatively, if the bike has been well looked after it should see 200,000Kms no problem.
  4. ditto; if a bike's been serviced religiously, it should near last forever........

See the "My New baby" thread; rossc0's got himself a ten year old Triumph 1200 that looks brand new, but has 93,000 kms on it.....
