Tinting a blue screen black

Discussion in 'Modifications and Projects' started by vtr_rida, Jul 29, 2008.

  1. Hey guys, I have a blue visor on my latest bike (vtr1000) from eaglescreens. Is it possible to turn it into a smoked black one? I was thinking maybe that tinting spray used for car lights, would that work ok?

    Cheers! :)
  2. Dunno, I have used that tint spray stuff before and its kinda hard to get it even to start with.
If your screen is already blue then spraying it with that stuff could only turn it a very dark smoked colour at best i recon.

Maybe take the screen off your bike and drop into a car tinting place, surely it wouldn't cost more than $50 to have them tint it properly?

Was thinking about doing that with my new ducati screen, then i wouldn't have to buy a tinted screen thats the same but a different colour.
